Meet
Joscha Oelgemöller
I am a fine art photographer with a passion for travel and landscape photography. Ever since my early teenage years, I have been drawn to the natural world and the magic of capturing it through the lens of my camera.
There's a certain magic to discovering new places on foot with a camera in hand.
Through my work in international development cooperation, I have had the opportunity to live in various countries and travel to some of the world's most isolated regions. I am now based in the incredibly gorgeous Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where I continue to explore the beauty of its people and nature to capture my unique artistic perspective.
As a travel and landscape photographer, I aim to capture the essence and beauty of each destination I visit. Whether it's a remote mountain range or a bustling urban city, each photo I take represents a moment in time that encapsulates the uniqueness and beauty of a particular place.
When I take a picture, I capture both the natural world, its people, and my own unique artistic perspective.
I am proud to share that my photography has been recognized by the Fine Art Photography Awards, with my photo of one of the courtyards of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat nominated in the travel section. This achievement has further fueled my dedication to creating fine art photography that captures the essence of the natural world and the diversity of cultures around the globe.
If you enjoy viewing my photographs, I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to send me feedback through the contact page. Thank you for your interest in my work, and I look forward to capturing more of the world's natural wonders and unique cultures through my lens
